My day at School in Sri Lanka

I stayed in a Guest house in a town called Tengalle in Southern Sri Lanka, there was a boy called Tinet who lived there, my mum asked Tinets dad if I could go to school with him for a day, Tinets dad arranged it with the school.

In Sri Lanka the school day starts at 7.30am and finishes at 1.30pm

The class I went to was class 3 and there were 49 children in the class.

They go to school Monday to Friday, in year 9 they go on Saturdays also.

We did maths, it was very hard.

The teacher had a long stick on her desk, we were all very good!
