70% of Sri Lankans are Buddhists, there are a lots of temples.
The Rock temple that we visited is just one of many mystical temples found in Sri Lanka.
Inside this huge rock there are caves, the buddhists have made it a temple, there are 7 rooms with huge Buddhas lying down, the walls and ceilings are all painted, the paintings protect and show stories about the Buddhist belief.
